In the past it was said that the only proven way to lose weight was to burn more calories than you consume. And though that still holds a lot of truth there are many other proven ways to help shed some extra pounds with little to no diet or exercise. Today we take a look at a few of the most popular methods!

~Intermittent fasting

Intermittent fasting has gotten more and more popular over the years and even making it's way to hit tv shows such as "Doctor Oz". Intermittent fasting is an umbrella term for various meal timing schedules that cycle between voluntary fasting and non fasting over a given period of time. There are different forms of intermittent fasting such as 16:8, 20:4, and 19:5. These ratios stand for hours in a day ( the amount of hours you eat and the amount of hours you fast). For example in a 20:4 fast you will eat for 4 hours out of the day and spend the remaining 20 hours of the day fasting. It is very important to drink plenty of water and try to remain a balanced diet while fasting for the best results but it is not mandatory. Many people have lost and kept off up to 30 pounds in a single month!!!! Not bad for no dieting or working out (:.

~ Lympathic Drainage Massage

No one would ever think that it would be possible to shed a few pounds just from a massage! Until I heard of Lymphatic drainage massage I wouldn't have believed so either. Lymphatic drainage massage is exactly what it says it is; a massage that drains the lymphatic system. This technique is great for those who are looking to shed a few pounds, remove bloating, help relieve cramps, lose some water weight, and reduce swelling. And the best part of it all is that it's very cost friendly for those who are in need of it with prices ranging from around $50-$150 an hour for an hour or two session.

~Ultrasonic Cavitation ( Radio Frequency)

Ultrasonic Cavitation was a life saver for me after birth, because it helped me shed so many unwanted pounds. The entire procedure was quick and very painless and results were very easy to maintain. I lost two inches off my waist in less than a week after my first session and then another inch after the second. Average cost is around $150-$250 per session with a minimum wait time of 72 hours between each session.

~ CoolSculpting

Coolsculpting uses a procedure known as cryolipolysis. It works by placing a roll of fat into two panels that cool the fat to a freezing. Results vary from person to person and visible results are usually seen within the first 3-4 weeks while dramatic results are noticed after 8-10 weeks. Average cost of cool sculpting ranges from $750-$12,000 depending on several factors such as overall weight/goal, areas being treated, and location.

~Sculptice

Sculptice is a non invasive therapy that eliminates fat without surgery. It is an ice made of herbs, tonics, and nutrients that causes fatty deposits combustion, activation blood circulation and eliminating toxins from the body. The components help boost the production of collagen and elastin giving better texture to the skin, providing firmness, elasticity, tone, and sculpting of the body. The average cost of sculptice varies by location and salon but is usually no more than $100-$200 per session. Sculptice procedures are also usually accompanied by other techniques such as wood sculpting which we will cover later!

~ Sonobello

We've all probably heard of sonobello by now due to the enormous amount of times we've seen the, advertise both on television and across the media. Sonobello is a nation leader in laser liposuction and body countouring. The cost of sonobello varies from location to location and area/s being treated but average cost is around $1400 per area being treated! There is very little down time and very few side affects. Results are instantly visible and usually last more than a year with proper upkeeping. Don't hesitate to head over to their website and claim your free consultation!

~ Wood therapy

Wood therapy is a vigorous massage technique that utilizes wooden handheld tools to help reduce cellulite, sagging skin, and increase lympathic circulation. Wood therapy is also great when it comes to body sculpting and contouring. Wood therapy alone is powerful but when partnered with other methods such as ones mentioned above gives 10x more visible results. The average cost is around $150 per session and results may vary from person to person.
